Service Technician
Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience. Preferably in residential and commercial lighting
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes
- Express an excellent working knowledge of Residential Building codes
- Residential service changes up to NEC codes and Dayton Power & Light standards
- Follow instructions correctly
- Must be able to handle material
- Be reliable, accountable, and consistent
- Willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations
- Communicate well and have professional interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Single-family electrical experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional appearance
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Own hand tools
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test

Electrician
Type: Full-time
Positive Electric has an opening for an electrician for projects located in Columbus and Dayton, Ohio areas. We also provide services throughout the State of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana if you are interested in traveling.

Responsibilities
- Review blueprints and order materials
- Install and troubleshoot electrical items
- Perform work required for the construction and installation of electrical systems for single and multi-family projects
- Perform work of a skilled variety demanding a high degree of manual and technical competency in the installation of all wiring, devices, fixtures and other electrical equipment
- Install feeders/sub-feeds
- Switchgear and device installation and termination
- Underground layout and rough-in
- Work responsibly using personal and company supplied tools and equipment
- Perform all job duties following all established safety standards
- Maintain a can-do attitude that is broadcast to those they influence
Qualifications
- Stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift/carry up to 50+lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Work in extreme temperatures of cold and heat
- Work around dirt, dust, and other construction environments
- Use basic hand and power tools as required
- Able to supply their own personal tools per established tool list
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and Management in English

Project Manager
Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in multi-family is a must
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes
- Express an excellent working knowledge of Building codes
- Follow instructions correctly
- Ability to manage material
- Be reliable, accountable and consistent
- Willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations
- Work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification
- Communicate well and have professional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with the project management team to establish the wiring method, layout, and schedule for projects
- Ability to coordinate with the General Contractor and other trades
- Ability to manage a crew
- Willingness to travel is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
